I also really like the idea of consolidating information to be more productive. This <a href=\"http:\/\/lifehacker.com\/5938773\/the-mossy-desktop\" target=\"_blank\">article from Lifehacker<\/a> caught my attention as a way to present information on your desktop and reduce the time it would take to go get it (manually). Similar options include:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/geektool\/id456877552?mt=12\" target=\"_blank\">Geektool<\/a> (for Mac)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/rainmeter.net\/cms\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rainmeter<\/a> (for PC)<\/p>\n<p>Update:<br \/>\nThere is also &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stardock.com\/products\/fences\/index.asp\">Fences<\/a>&#8221; for the PC.
